Athlone CC and Knockbeg progress in Leinster Schools

Athlone Community College and Knockbeg are into the second round of the Leinster Colleges Senior Football Championship

Athlone were comfortable 0-12 to 0-1 winners over Colaiste na Trinoide, Athy at Athlone IT

Knockbeg had a 2-17 to 0-4 victory over Sutton

Dundalk Colleges are also into the draw for round two following a 3-16 to 1-2 win away to Malahide
