Offaly GAA management teams complete

Former All-Ireland winning Offaly goalkeeper Stephen Byrne has joined Ollie Baker's backroom team as a selector, Mark Corrigan continues as the other selector on the Offaly senior hurling management team

Ger Coughlan and Aidan Hanrahan were ratified as the Offaly Under 21 hurling managers last night while JJ Malone was also ratified as a replacement selector for Laz Molloy in the Offaly Minor football management team that's fronted by Tubber man Padraig Farrell.

Gordon McDonnell and Ferbane's Paul Mollen were sworn in as selectors to Emmet McDonnell in the Offaly senior football setup.

Next year the fifth and sixth placed teams in the senior championship groups will enter relegation semi finals, last year only the two bottom teams contested the drop.

The Offaly County Convention has been fixed for December 10th where a new Chairman will be elected.

Padraig and Martin Boland are the front runners to succeed Pat Teehan.
