Athlone teenager Brendan Gibbons has been named on the 11 strong Irish team for this month's European Short-Course Swimming Championships near Paris.
Grainne Murphy and Melanie Nocher won't be competing, but other Olympians Barry Murphy and Sycerika McMahon are travelling.
In the squad too are Brendan Hyland, Curtis Coulter, David O'Sullivan, Cian Duffy, Jane Roberts,Sarah Kelly, Clodagh Flood and Shani Stallard.
